STAN 2011

STAN – Society, Technology, Art and Nature – featured inspiring Stanford speakers and performers in an intimate setting. It may serve as a model for a TEDx Event being considered for campus next spring. The site was built using WordPress and a custom theme created specifically for this event.

New photo gallery

Replacing our previous Flash-based photo gallery is a new jQuery-based slideshow that works on desktops as well as iOS devices. The excellent Galleria framework was selected and modified for our needs. This new gallery will be used for the University slideshow and in news stories.

Go Stanford!

I just started as a Web Developer in University Communications at Stanford. As the newest member of the Web Team, I will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of a number of prominent websites including the University homepage, News and Events. I also want to help implement new features with social media and enhance our mobile presence.

I’m really excited to move to Stanford University after working at Stanford Hospital for two and a half years. Go Stanford!
