Passions ❤️

UX Design

Creating something simple can be difficult. It’s a challenge that I enjoy. Creating several design iterations early in the process allows me to quickly share ideas with the team. This ensures that we’re all on the same page before moving into development.

User Research

I enjoy interacting with customers, listening to their ideas, understanding their problems, and working to solve them.

Front End Development

Development involves moving the design into the customers’ canvas - the browser. Building the functional intricacies inherent in responsive design is incredibly satisfying.

Design Systems

Creating and evolving a design system allows your team to build more consistent products faster and easier by centralizing all elements into a single source of truth.

“I’ve been using iOS 15 all summer, and there are a slew of changes illustrated here that I hadn’t noticed. (You may recall a similar collection from Burnett for iOS 12 to 13.)”

Inside Apple

“Ryan Burnett is a user experience designer at Amazon based in Atlanta. He’s worked on Amazon’s mobile-friendly home page, its user research program, and the front end of an internal shipping application. In short, he designs important interfaces used by lots of people. If you’re interested in UI design, follow @ryanburnett and learn a thing or two!”
